April thought she was planning a big surprise party for Jeremy's 27th birthday and recent graduation. The guests thought they were in on a surprise for Jeremy. What nobody knew was that Jeremy had planned the whole thing himself with the help of some family and close friends. Jeremy's Big Surprise was actually on everyone else. Jeremy thought he was going to Monterey, Calif. with Stephen and some friends for a weekend of whale-watching and bar-hopping. Instead, the guys took Jeremy to an Irish Pub for dinner, fishing in the Berkeley Marina, and to the Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39 to do some of Jeremy's favorite actitivies: eat clam chowder and get a bag of Trish's Mini-Donuts.

Jeremy and April spent a spectacular day with friends and family as they celebrated their upcoming wedding and marriage. Christine and Nat, the matron of honor and best man, planned and hosted the event with the help of the Porras and Wu families. Guests enjoyed a wonderful meal, fun games and a time to relax and unwind on a sunny Southern California afternoon.

April celebrated her bachelorette-hood, or the end of it at least, during her birthday weekend in Las Vegas. The bridesmaids and some of her close friends joined her in the desert for a couple days of partying, shows, and Shiny Disco Balls.

April and Jeremy celebrated the week of their wedding with a big kick-off party at the Wu's residence in Temple City. Set up by the groomsmen, the at-home shindig coincided with Jer's return home from Union City with Elson and Eric as well as April's return from Las Vegas and her bachelorette party. Unbeknownst to April, the get-together also allowed everyone to celebrate her birthday. With all of the groomsmen and bridesmaids in attendance, and many of Prel and Jer's closest friends, the week of the wedding started off with a bang.

With family in town, friends to see and lots of work to do before the big day, Prel and Jer's last six days as single people were packed with activities. From meeting with coordinators, to dance rehearsals, and even a quick trip to Disneyland, the two still found a little time to relax before their lives changed forever.

After rehearsing the wedding ceremony at Bel Air Presbyterian, the entire entourage and family headed over to Glendale for some Filipino cuisine and karaoke. Prel and Jer showed their appreciation for their wedding party, sponsors and parents with a couple of speeches, gifts and even a duet.

Prel and Jer get ready for the wedding ceremony. While Jer's groomsmen meet him at the Westin Bonaventure in downtown LA for lunch and some bonding, April and the girls get their hair done in Burbank and make-up done in Sherman Oaks. The guys take residence in the pastor's study while the girls get ready at the church in the bridal room.

Prel and Jer get married at Bel Air Presbyterian Church on the westside of Los Angeles. The church is equipped with a beautiful pipe organ and a lucious cherry wood finish to all the pews, making the need for decorations a bare minimum. Outside, the view of the San Fernando Valley is spectacular and the gorgeous green grass in the garden makes for the perfect photo spot.

Prel and Jer celebrate their wedding with a reception at the Town & Gown Hall on the campus of the University of Southern California. The entourage is introduced to the sounds of the Trojan Marching Band before the newlyweds join their band for a show. Prel and Jer share their love story through a slide show, show their moves on the dance floor, and enjoy some special moments with their guests.

The Wu and Jong families welcome April into the fold as Prel and Jer take part in a traditional Chinese tea ceremony held at the Wu's residence in Temple City. Auntie Jeanette helps the newlywed couple serve tea to grandma and grandpa, auntie Kim, uncle Thomas, auntie Anita and uncle William.

Prel and Jer celebrate their wedding with family and friends with a reception at the Empress Harbor Seafood Restaurant. Uncle Philip and Jer's sister Joanna emcee'd the night while Casey and Holly entertained guests with a traditional lion dance. Friends from church, and April's cousins also sang songs and made presentations to the newlywed couple.

Prel and Jer take a short break after the wedding to relax and unwind from all the planning. They spent three days at a Bed and Breakfast in the Heritage Park district of San Diego. They toured Coronado, the Gas Lamp District, Cabrillo, the Whaley House and visited a Mission as they ate plenty of great food while away.

Prel and Jer traveled to the east coast of Malaysia for a one-week honeymoon in mid-July. After a short stop in Taiwan, they spent a day in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur before taking a small plane to the fishing/resort town of Kuantan. While nestled away at the beautiful getaway, the two enjoyed massages, authentic Malay cuisine, a trip to an elephant sanctuary, a river boat cruise and the gorgeous sand of Teluk Chempadak.
